3M™ 500 Series Filter Bags

PowerFlow Fluid Systems Fluid Systems is an authorized distributor of 3M™ 500 Series Filter Bags.  These bags incorporate a proprietary media with bypass layers that significantly improve dirt holding capacity of the filter media.  Since most the contaminant is captured within the media, handling during change-outs is cleaner and easier.  Series 500 bags have welded side seams, eliminating the needle holes found in sewn bags. No silicone or adhesives are used in manufacturing and raw material are compliant with FDA CFR Title 21, yielding a high purity product.  3M Series 500 bags are offered with a stainless-steel ring for superior sealing in the housing.  The filter media is specifically evaluated for filtration properties and rigorously tested in accordance with 3M’s ISO 9001:2008 quality control procedures. All grades are chemically resistant to mineral acids, organic acids, alkalis, organic solvents, and microorganisms.
